Port Facilities

Commercial carriers must use stevedore services at Pier @ and Pier 3. (Fishing vessels excluded)

All piers and docks are multi-use facilities.  Availability subject to preferential use agreements.

  • Pier I – Ferry Dock

230 ft x 45 ft, 26.6 ft draft (MLLW)
Uses: Ferry terminal, Bulk Fuel Facility, and general use for mooring, repairs, loading and unloading, crane work.  No welding permitted without hot work permit  
Services: Water, fuel

  • Pier II – Fisherman's Terminal

1050 ft x 64 ft, 38 ft draft (MLLW)
Use: loading and unloading of commercial freight, cruise ship terminal, government vessels, ferry terminal, vessel repairs, moorage, crane work, gear storage, fishing gear repairs, warehouse, used oil handling facility.
Services: water, storage, used oil and bilge water disposal, sewage disposal

  • Pier III – Cargo Terminal

          New Pier: Working dock surface - 330 ft x 100 ft (460 ft mooring surface), (885 ft bollard to bollard), 45 ft daft       (MLLW)

          Old Pier: 429 ft x 64' (880' bollard to bollard), 38 ft draft (MLLW).  No gantry crane on old pier

Uses: Deep draft container terminal, general cargo, fishing vessel moorage, loading and unloading. 

Services: 75 ton container gantry crane, container storage yard, water
